Saturday afternoon sees the finale of the 2019/20 domestic season with rivals Chelsea and Arsenal battling it out for the FA Cup. Both London sides have a rich history with the cup so this should be a very interesting affair come 5:30pm.

With over 300 We Love Sport pubs & bars broadcasting the FA Cup Final there really is no better place to enjoy than down the pub. Find where you can watch here.

Arsenal look for a record-extending 14th FA Cup win to secure their place in next seasons Europa League whilst Chelsea will be looking to cap off what has been a fine season with some domestic silverware.

Both sides are recent winners of this prestigious trophy with Chelsea lifting the trophy through a 1-0 victory over Man United in 2018 whilst Arsenal beat Chelsea back in 2017.

HEAD TO HEAD

Recent matches between these two sides have been nothing short of thrilling with Chelsea just having the edge over the Gunners this season taking four points over the 2 meetings.

History favours Arsenal with 76 victories and 59 draws over the last 200 meetings.

Arsenal will be looking for sweet revenge over the Blues after last years Baku disaster. An Eden Hazard masterclass gave the Blues a 4-1 victory over Arsenal in the Europa League Final.

Arsenal have beaten Chelsea previously in the FA Cup Final with a 2-0 victory in 2002 and a 2-1 victory in 2017.

THE ROAD TO WEMBLEY

Arsenal booked their place in the final with a stunning 2-0 win over Manchester City following victories against Sheffield United, Pompey, Bournemouth & Leeds United.

Meanwhile, i'm sure no Gooners would disagree that Chelsea had the more difficult route to Wembley with victories over Man United, Leicester City, Liverpool, Hull City & Notts Forest.

GOAL FEST PREDICTED

Both sides have been criticised this season over their defensive frailties by conceding a combined total of 102 goals over the course of the Premier League season.

However, they also have a mouth watering abundance of talent going forward which should promise goals come Saturday evening. Something for the neutral but probably not something for the ticker of every Chelsea & Arsenal fan with London bragging rights up for grabs.

TEAM NEWS

Arsenal: Shkodran Mustafi joins Pablo Mari, Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers & Gabriel Martinelli on the long term injury list whilst Hector Bellerin returns after missing the last game of the season.

Chelsea: Billy Gilmour is out following knee surgery but N'Golo Kante faces a late fitness test to see whether he can be involved.

PREDICTION

Predicting the outcome of this final is no easy task and really it comes down to which defence is the best on the day as we know both teams can score goals.

Arsenal have tightened up of late under the guidance of Mikel Arteta and seem to have an almighty love affair with this cup. So for me the Gunners just edge this one.
