Lee is also a full-time undertaker and has been tirelessly working throughout the global pandemic. Lee has unfortunately witnessed first hand the devastating effects of COVID-19 working tirelessly over many extra hours including Christmas Day itself.

Lee is his sister's hero and she wants him to have something to look forward to after a difficult year working in the thick of the pandemic.

PAUL SQUIRE - BRIGHTON & HOVE ALBION SUPPORTER

Paul is the father of Finley Williams aka The Mighty Fin. Together they aim to raise as much money as possible to grant magical wishes to children and their families.

Fin has a rare syndrome called Mowat-Wilson Syndrome and Hirshsprungs Disease but he gives joy to thousands via his Facebook page 'The Mighty Fin's I Have No Voice'

Nothing makes Fin happier than watching his beloved Seagulls and before COVID-19 hit Paul would travel a whopping 600 miles from North Wales to Brighton to ensure they saw the matches!

"The Mighty Fin comes alive during our trips. Every second is a moment to savour for me. I will probably outlive my son and so making beautiful memories is very important to me".

JOSH - BURNLEY SUPPORTER

Josh who is a huge Burnley fan was nominated by his partner Kara. Like many Claret fans, Turf Moor is Josh's happy place and before COVID hit he had never missed a game. In late 2020 Josh and Kara welcomed their precious baby boy Leo into their world. Unfortunately during the birth of Leo there were complications which resulted in Leo not breathing and Kara losing lots of blood. At that moment both the lives of mother and baby were in serious danger but luckily in true Burnley spirit, they both fought through.

It's been a tough and traumatic year for Josh and his partner Kara and they appreciate not everyone is quite so lucky as them. This prize would be a great way to put 2020 behind them and look forward to better times as a new family.

EDWARD HOPKINS - LIVERPOOL SUPPORTER

Kirsty would like to nominate her father Edward Hopkins to be We Love Sport's first ever Fan of the Year. He is an enormous Liverpool supporter but has been through so much of what was already a difficult year for them all.

His daughter was, unfortunately, a victim of domestic abuse and only just managed to pull through. Edward then lost his job due to the ongoing pandemic and tragically his brother is now in hospital fighting COVID-19.

Kirsty would love her father to be our Fan of the Year to go towards putting a smile back on his face after an incredibly turbulent year.

STEPHEN BROOMHEAD - LEEDS UNITED SUPPORTER

Stephen is a season ticket holder at Leeds United and of course missed out on their title-winning Championship season back to the Premier League.

Pre-COVID Stephen travelled home and away to support his beloved Leeds United but watching from the comfort of his armchair has driven him round the bend. In his spare time, Stephen was once involved in the community playing in local leagues but now coaches and has received recognition through awards from his commitment.

Stephen's cousin Dee would love for him to win this award to cheer him up and for all his selfless acts in the local football community.

PAUL REID

Paul who never misses a game has been nominated by his best friend Steph.

During what was already a tough year for all Paul has helped Steph through some very difficult personal issues as well as supporting her through the loss of her whole family. Last year Steph also endured a house fire which meant they, unfortunately, had to move out of her home but Paul was there to put a roof over Steph and her two children's head which resulted in him missing some matches.

Steph couldn't thank Paul enough for his kind generosity but would love for him to win Fan of the Year as a small way of saying thank you.
